period for total cure: can someone pls tell... - Diabetes India
period for total cure
It will NOT CURE diabetes!
If you embark on this foolish regime you will spend money and hope. The ONLY way to control diabetes is through total carbohydrate restriction:dietdoctor.com/diabetes
Diabetes can not be cured.
Diabetes is not a disease and hence there is no cure for diabetes. That being said you can and need to keep it under control. There are different diets available and then there are medicines as well. Personally I like to keep it under control with diet and exercise and not resorting to using medicines.
Don't let the words "there is no cure" discourage you, because you can keep it in control. Some people refer to it as a cure and that is a misnomer. Good luck and good health.
now it is no more looked at health hazard, it is called as life style issue, change your food habit and stop varying .
Welcome to lwmr group you can surely regulate your b s levels by lwmr and ignore negative comments made by some member as it is my own experiance .l am using long wheat since last ten months and it is very effective.
Sir I wanted to know are you using long wheat mash or long wheat rotis? I used to have mash but now since the past 15 days am using roti of long wheat and my BSL is always in normal range. I am off all medicines for diabetes since 5th June. I need your valuable opinion. Thanks.
Dear all, indiacratus has said it right, whether it cures or not is conditional and different issue but Long Wheat keeps the sugar under control is universal truth whether one accept or not. I will also like to add that if some one is in support of LCHF let him be but let him not discourage others. I have started the LWMDR just three weeks ago and I had to reduce my insulin dose to 2/3 of it's normal dose as the sugar level used fall below 60 in the midnight. I have also compared normal diet and Long Wheat diet sugar rise. With the BSF 95, LWMDR with same dose of insulin the BSPP is just 100+/- 5 after two hours but with normal diet it increases to 140 or so. And I have a strong belief that if I continue with this diet the diabetes will certainly be reversed and if at all it does not reverse I am satisfied that it will be under control. Resulting in keeping away from the ill effects of high blood sugar.
I started on LWMDR some 10 months back, but was not steady on this diet due to a freak car accident. But, still, I was able to bring down my BS readings, and also medicines. My carb for the day is mostly LW and rest being veg/coconut/ nuts etc, hence also contributing to low carb diet of LCHF diet. try to incorporate the best of both diets, and see results.
what is LWMDR. I also agree with views of nairrajis.
