Yes it does. All physical and mental stress can result in higher gluclose levels. Hormones such as cortisol the stress hormone is released when one is stressed. This causes the liver to dump sugar it stores into the blood stream, also cortisol may lower insulin secretion and these factors vary for people. But generally stress can and does increase blood sugars.
