Take long wheat 1kg = 1gm ( ex ; if your body weight 70kg = 70gm).

preparation of cooking:

take one portion of long wheat along with six portion of water ( 1:6 ratio).put in to cooker with medium flame, one whistle came out from cooker then simm or low the flame cook for 45 min. take mixie to grind cooked long wheat along with cooked water, you will get Long wheat mash.

note: prepare LWMDR to cook separately for breakfast & dinner

Sanrptji since how long are you having LWMDR? What were your levels before and after this regime. Do you have in between snacks, if yes then what do you have? Kindly let me know. Regards and thanks. This will be of great help to me and all on this platform.

Hi friends,

I am one who has started LWMDR therapy since one month. I think the method of preparing LW gruel has been already explained in a few columns of this forum by George himself and other friends. How I consume LW is by cooking a small quantity of LW for 15 minutes in boiling water after soaking it in pure water for about 6 hours, then grinding it well in a mixie and adding salt and and along with some vegetable curry or buttermilk. I take it at times adding milk and one sugarfree pill. I am happy to say that this therapy propounded by Shooter George is found working wonderfully well in my case. I have of course not discontinued insulin and diabetic tablet prescribed by my doctor. But after starting this LWMDR I came across hypoglycaemia a few times and consequently reduced the dosage of anti diabetic tablets and insulin. But I wish to express the fact that this therapy is really effective and hope will gradually enable me to be free from taking insulin and other medicine.

I also take this opportunity to request Mr George as well as other friends who are practising this to confirm whether it would be advisable to have other vegetable recipes and other foods normally allowed for diabetics for lunch and rarely at such intervals when we feel hungry, while resorting to LWMDR for breakfast and supper.

Nearly 4 months i follow LWMDR, my fbs -110 ppbs - 130-140. before LWMDR my fbs 140-150 ppbs - 230-240. i already post few days before my lab results in this forum kindly check it.

my diet:

morning -i take 100ml fenugreek soaked water in empty stomuch

breakfast - LWMDR + 30 gms black channa + 100gm vegetables.

11.00 am - 500ml butter milk

lunch - 2cup rice + 1cup sambar+ 1cup rasam+ 2cup vegetables

4.00 - sprouts 1 bowl + water

dinner - LWMDR + 30gms black channa + vegetables

this is my regular diet plan. mostly my snacks is butter milk , sprouts, fried dal, egg omelette, fried fish & water.

i totally avoid milk, tea , coffee, biscuits, fruits,sugar . sunday only i eat non veg weekly once. all three meals i eat full of stomuch.

2tsp of fenugreek soaked in overnite.

no impact in sugar while eating lots of vegetables. except or avoid root vegetbles.

black channa soaked overnite, morning boiled along with soaked water.

after cooked long wheat, i mash the long wheat along with cooked water by using mixie.

i started the lwmdr a month ago,with brkfst and dinner of longwheat kanji and lunch of fruits.Fruits if taken on an empty stomach i.e a gap of atleast 3hrs(after taking food) do not increase the sugar ,rather my ppbs became quiet less even lesser than lwmdr

Are we to avoid milk and dairy products also ?

What vegetables are ok and which ones must be totally avoided ?

Are buttermilk, tea, coffee and fresh fruit juices ok with the diet ?

How about rotis, idly , dosa, upma ?Please advice !!!
