THE OTHER DAY I CHECKED MY FPS IN A HOSPITAL. THE READING WAS 165. I WAS REALLY SHOCKED MY FBS NEVER CROSSED THE 120 MARK IN GLUCOMETER(ONE TOUCH ULTRA). WHEN I RAISED THE DOUBT THE DOCTOR TOLD ME IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN BECAUSE THE TEST TAKEN AT 8.30 A.M.AND I USED TO TAKE AT 7.30 A.M I WAS NOT CONVINCED. WHETHER THE FPS WILL INCREASE IN EMPTY STOMACH BY TESTING LATE? MY PPS WAS 179.

In diabetics FBS tend to increase as time passes after you wake up even if you have not eaten anything.
