Why do you think you have developed immunity to a particular medicine?Has your sugar numbers gone out of control? If not,why blame the medicine?In any case,only your doctor can advise you properly on medications.

you don't think wrong about glyciphage SR500 it is safe medicine you can also use glyzide 80mg it is also safe

I am using Glycipage 250 for 4 years. No immunity. Rather my sugar leavel with in prescribed limit. My Dr advised me last week continue the medicine. I do regularmorning walking. No lchf diet. Only I control eating-I am 73 yearsold

Dear Ramaswami, it is good that your own sense of control make things work. I am 75 years and going good with diet control only self made control .

Metformin is not effective means you are consuming more carbs than your body can tolerate. (means BS levels are not in control). So to control BS reduce your carb intake and you may not need Glizid-M 80.

Glicyphage is good. I have been using it for more the six years.
