hi my blood presure is 92/50 is this to low as i have ckd stage 3b i reduced my meds for high bp but it still not come back up thanks angela

Systolic below 90Hg,and Diastolic below 60 Hg of mercury is low blood pressure. If your systolic is between 90-120 Hg and Diastolic 60-80Hg,it is ok. Any one below this range,it is low blood pressure,hence you are affected with low blood pressure,.The blood supply to your brain and to other organs may be deficient,mostly to brain.

Every body seems to be concentrating only on low BP .please remember,she is having serious damage to her kidney. May be her low BP is related to kidney damage. She needs an expert advice urgently.

hi again patliputra i also have mitral regurgitation will the ckd have an effect on this as no one either gp or nephrologist has mentioned any thing they do not seem to think my ckd is serious yours again angela

Hi, Angela, please forgive me for what I am going to write. The low BP as you have mentioned is a very serious problem for a person suffering from CKD . The triad of CKD ,heart disease and anaemia does not auger well. Now this persistent low BP . I request you to be please ,please be very very careful. At the slightest hint of feeling uneasiness, get into hospital without any delay. Please keep a constant watch over your BP ,see if it improves,if not urgently get to a hospital. I may sound alarmist,I am sorry for that,but your condition is making me very uncomfortable. Please please forgive me.

went to see the gp on thursday absolute waste of time he was not interested he said i was holding my own and no need to worry he said my urea was up at 10.2 but that was down to the ckd s=o i am at a loss as to what to do i ask about diet he just said avoid salt and eat healthy yours angela

Hi Angela, Can you please let me know the unit in which blood urea is reported. Please also let me know your current BP. What about your anaemia and your overall general health. What is your bun and serum creatinine.

hi patliputra, erea is 10.2 gfr37 creatnine 125 do not know anemia as i do not have blood test until next friday blood presure is 96/55 hope this helps yours angela

Thankyou all so very much i am seeing my gp on thursday and i hope he will answer my questions i am under a nephrologist but do not see him again until july he sent me for an iron infusion 2 weeks ago as i was anemic the infusion took about 30 mins but i do not know if it has helped as i do not have blood test for another 2 weeks my bp was high gp put me on medicine amlodopine which i have stopped for last 2 weeks plus bysoprolol i have stoped one of these also 2.05 i think they are so only take 1 now but bp still not gone up . i will let you know thursday what gp says and will get a list of blood results ect yours angela

Your water intake daily should be 8 glasses. Due to dehydration also, BP falls.

Pl report back after 3 days.
