I need to to know how to differentiate between type1 and type 2 adult onset by any method.

Could not find any thing which can differentiate between type1and2, on that link.Can any one write in black and white the tests one should undergo for that purpose.

Since you mentioned it,I have tried to read about it on web.
The C-peptide level may be measured in a patient with type 2 diabetes to see if any insulin is still being produced by the body. It may also be measured in cases of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) to see if the person's body is producing too much insulin.
Normal Results
0.5 to 2.0 ng/mL (nanograms per milliliter)
Low values (or no insulin C-peptide) indicate that your pancreas is producing little or no insulin.
Patients with diabetes may have their C-peptide levels measured as a means of distinguishing type 1 diabetes from type 2 diabetes or Maturity onset diabetes of the young (MODY).
