I m also doing long tour but try to back weekend & carry your vial from house & mind it gradually you switch to lchf diet & weekly fasting as you can do. During tour order your lunch green salad with curd or plain & dinner take two chapati approx 100 carb. Plus vegetables (veg.non veg ) otherwise you gradually resistance to insulin & gradually dose will increase with u will develop more extra weight.

try low carb diet {LCHF } and once your body adjust to this , you need to carry some veg well cooked at home and your problems on insulin will also be taken care of . My sincere adv is just try once on this diet and if it does not go with your body , you are at liberty to continue insulin. good luck
