It is not only necessary that you avoid taking sweets and sugar, it is also required that you monitor your total calorie intake and more particularly carbohydrates. It is also required that you must go for brisk walk for about 40 minutes to an hour every day. Total calorie intake should be nearly 1500 to 1800 calories which should be balance of proteins, fats and complex carbohydrates like cereals. Take only whole grains and not refined ones. Take your food total comprising 1500 to 1800 calories in 6 parts during the days having 3 minor meals and 3 major meals. If this is done your blood sugar level will in all probability remain normal.
Further to my earlier reply you may occasionally take a very small portion of sweet or get some sugar free sweets only.
hi friend,
it is right, now it is better, you have to add more vegetbles/fibre foods in your food itmes morning tiffen, luch, night supper too, try to reduce atleast 50% of rice and wheat items in the food, from your current intake level.
you can see the miracle blood test report considerably. apartfrom this, you must have minimum 30 -40 minutes walking.
it is enough.
best of luck.

I have been taking just 1 tablets Amryl 3g 10 minutes before lunch
but I do 1 hour simple exersises mostly which I had done during my schooling days PT period. I walk minimum 1 hour during the day any time. . I take tea and sometimes coffee 2-3 cups but with 2 sugar- free tablets per cup daily. This way I have been able to control my Sugar leve all these years (over 15 years). I take veg and 2-3 fruits. Keep checking sugar fasting and post meal every 45 days. I do not worry at all any time
Try homeopathic medicines.
A primary side effect of Diabetes and allopathic drugs is Weakness of nerves - and resultant weakness of all body organs. Some Ayurvedic neutraceuticals produced dilligently with research and scientific testing process are a very good option for diabetes control. They can many a time reduce or even eliminate the usage of allopathic medicines which are the main culprits.
There are two reasons for this. No.1) the Ayurvedic supplements do not pose any side effects which are grave in the case of allopathic medicines especially in the case of diabetes as you would be aware... (2) The allopathic medicines put a lot of stress on the nerves of our body which results in the nerves getting weak over the period and this effects our entire boby -Kidneys, brain, eyes and even heart. While the Ayurvedic neutraceuticals do no put any such strain over the nerves thus maintaining the bodies vigour and energy.
CoQ 10 is the main enzyme that provides energy to our entire body especially the brain and heart. This taken alongwith Ayurvedic neutraceuticals can be very effective in reducing the side effects of allopathic medicines.
But the key issue is even the ayurvedic medicines/ supplements should be well researched and clinically tested.
If you want I can suggest you 2 very good options for CoQ10 and Diabetes - Ayurvedic neutraceutical for Type-II diabetes. You may write to me at svarinder@rediffmail.com
