In my point of view... what is your age is not a consideration, basically you need a consultation with with a Doctor (A family Doctor) who can basically check up all your family members also. He can surely advise you about your BP, Sugar, Collestrol, age is not a factor. You only need some physical exercise in the morning and evening, may be at least for half an hour in the morning and evening... that can keep you physically fit, then is the dieting... don't to over eating.. may be 40-60 gram food at a time with an interval of 2 hours ..means to say, don't keep you hungry, restrict the food for sugar that your doctor can tell you... you can have a long life of more than 85 years ...in my point of view... because my father was also having similar problems, when I could be with him for few years...he could overcome all such minor issues and survived up to around 86 years..so don't let your heart to small in this respect, first you need is your will power to fight in the life once for all, rest all can follow you...so keep up your courage, am always with you for any thing you may need...take care, all the best...
