My daughter age 35 is not diabetic.she suffering from OCD (obsession compulsion disorder ).treating by a psychretic weight gain 55-95 kgs.

Symptom was bathing more than 3 hour ,washing clothes 9-10 times but feel not clean.And hole home including sofa bed and any thing are dirty.after treatment he feel relief but weight gain 55 to 95 kgs in 8 month.because med was for sleeping .OCD Treatment is continue for long time.

Pls suggest how can solve weight problem ?

I have no experience or knowledge on this subject,but I think her weight problem is directly related to her mental disorder.Unless she is treated properly for the disorder,her weight problem will be difficult to tackle.Once she is free from the disorder, she herself may be able to find ways to reduce her weight.

I am not an expert to suggest you anything but what I feel is that if her mind is diverted to something else which keeps her busy the whole day, specially outdoor activity, she will gradually improve. For example she could try morning walks, meditation, yoga in morning, and anything which keeps her outdoors. She will not have time to wash clothes and would like to sleep after being tired the whole day. Anything which envolves physical activity would help as the brain would focus more on that and its priority would change from washing clothes to getting envolved in something else.
