Can any body suggest flaxseed (ALSI) help in controlling type 2 diabetes if yes how it is to be taken

I read some one's post suggesting flaxseed for controlling diabetes.Please also tell me if a diabetic person take two tea spoon flaxseed daily will it harm as it is good for heart and diabetes is one of the cause of heart attacks secondly will it increase blood pressure if the person is not high BP patient.

Flaxseed contains more fiber and good source of omega3.Just like the fiberous food is good for diabetics flaxseed is also good.It has got no direct control over diabetics.It reduces the cholestral level because of the presence of omega3

and B.P.will not increase
