transplantaion of pancreas.

Nowadays cadavar transplantation is much talked off.Will any qualified doctor say transplantation of pancreas will wipe off insulin deficiency thus driving out diabetic complaints once for all..Will the cost be reasonable

you picked this issue, now pls, pls, pls elaborate, if you have info on med Labs or overseas clinics or any established reputed institution conducting such transplants????? pls amplify at length, one can always google search and get tons of info BUT do you have the info???? procedural inputs reqd. pls, God bless us ALL with good health!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The body can reject a donor pancreas leading to further complications, so best is keeping our own pancreas intact and continue with medications.

I had read about stem cell transplant which is very helpful in many cases.

As I found the transplan of pancreas is very difficult and it is deficult to doner also. this might be not possible in india. ihope the pancreas can be acteved by ayurvedic medecines....................

I agree to the above point that the transplant of pancreas is difficult and it is better to take medications .

They are doing transplants at a hospital near me. Its not quite a perfect answer yet but a lot better than a few years ago.
