I am taking insulin 2 times in a day.

I want to know taking insulin injunction every day will cause any side effect.

Insulin is given on Two occasions. One is for Survival..that is when a patient is Type 1. Secondly when there is no control of blood glucose with other anti diabetic drugs. How many times you take Insulin doesn't matter actually. Some patients may need 3-4 doses per day.But how is your glucose control is that really matters. There is no serious side effects noted with human Insulin apart from the weight gain in some patients.

Please take your Hba1c report which will be the correct status of your sugar level.

Then only It would be possible to make any suggestions for lowering sugar level. Insulin intake can be minimize or stopped by taking proper Ayurvedic treatment and proper diet.
