Red wine is ok. Avoid other alcoholic drinks.

in reply to telef

I disagree with telef. Whiskey, vodka, gin , rum and brandy contain almost zero carbs and if drunk in moderation are not only not harmful, but may actually be beneficial to health. Dry white wine is perfectly safe. Drink a couple of glasses a day while munching on peanuts and cheese. Or seekh kebabs and chicken tikkas.

Cheers !!!

Dry red wine is also safe. Of course, if drunk in moderation.

Dear Type 2, we love you....... :).................your first response gave the kick of life...recently I met a dietrician from a reputed hospital and the way she was striking off the food & beverage items from her list, a thought was flickering in if I would end up with just Chapati and Salt... :)
