whether Mango banana Dosa Idly can be eaten by patient having blood sugar fasting 177

Your fasting sugar level is too high.It should be close to 100.At this level you should be doubly careful as to what you eat.The foods you mentioned are loaded with carbohydrates which demand insulin for assimilation by the body.Avoid or at least practice moderation.

Ripe banana and mango contain high glucose. You can eat two dosa or iddli at the maximum.

You should maintain fasting blood sugar less than 100 mg/dL and post-prandial blood sugar less than 140 mg/dL.

Undergo HbA1c test.

mango,banana,chikko and jack fruit should not be consumed under any circumstances.Idli dosa in moderation ok since it contains cerals in addition to rice
