You can eat all fruits in moderation except ripe mango, pineapple, banana. Choose whole fruits more often than juices. Whole fruits have more fiber. Citrus fruits, such as oranges, grapefruits, and tangerines, are best. Drink fruit juices that do NOT have added sweeteners or syrups.

Avoid Riped Mango, Banana, Chiku and Grapes and sweet fruits. You can eat Apple, Papaya, Citrus fruits like orange etc. Avoid canned fruits and juices having sweetner or syrups

No fruits are GOOD for diabetics. At best, a few can be eaten in small quantities and only occasionally. I have quit eating fruits though I love mangoes, pineapples, chickoos, etc, etc.

Any fruit which tastes more sweet should not be taken as a rule - BUT - all types in moderate quantity is OK. I take one apple, one orange, a little of papaya, a few pieces of nuts with corn flakes as breakfast, for Lunch I take little rice, more of vegetables and preferably sea fish (75 gms.), pulse and 100 gms of fresh curd and drink water with juice of one full lemon, for dinner I take 2 home made chapatis, vegetable and/or 2 pieces of chicken OR a light soup. I do not take any food in between. This diet with walks and keeping myself engages in Club activites keeps me fit.
