I'm 53 years old, Diabetic type 2 for one year,that's controlled. Recent tests show BENIGHN PROSTRATIC HYPERTROPY. .Is it due to diabetes?

Thank you Sir. By vising such forum/s regularly I am not only sharing my good and bad experiences of self-control of diabetes with others but also learn lot of things. My HbA1C readings for last 12 months are below 6% ( latest was 5.3 in March) .My allopathic doctor has asked to undergo some more clinical tests next month before advising any medication. for prostrate issue . Meanwhile , in consultation with an Ayurvedic doctor I have started taking an Ayurvedic capsule with barley water twice a day after food. He assured me it will not have any adverse side effect. Shall report my experience in June.
