So, people here's the latest from the man. I've referred to him in the past, but you deserve an update.

Now, my views on EXCESSIVE carbohydrate consumption, and UNDERCONSUMPTION of natural fats are well known here, and I've said many, many times that we need to get back to the diet of our grandparents, which includes a significant amount of carbohydrate, and no fear of natural fats. Corn oil? Are you kidding me? Anywhere on the planet you will find people rendering animal fats. Your show me any society that renders any plant oil from any source (careful!)

Bottom line?

Eat like your grandparents (wish Fred was one of mine!).

That's the point we are insisting . It is a balanced and judicious ratio of carbs , proteins and fats which the body yearns for .

high fat diet may be giving good results in case of constitutions requiring ketosis . But I can't say that with definite certainity , since I have never experimented on high fat low carb diet.
