Feeling weakness and higher FBS ( 150 )
Hi there,
It's difficult to say without knowing more, but think u should contact your doctor about your weight loss & weakness if they don't already know about them. Both could be due to very high blood sugars and these can be very dangerous if not medically treated. Even if your doctors already know, I would remind them that you're still feeling weak, as it could be a sign of your blood sugars being too high, too low or unstable. Also, if ur new to diabetes it could well be that ur just not used to how different blood sugar levels feel, and it's quite a knock for u physically/emotionally too and a big new learning curve, which can all be pretty exhausting.
To summarise, my advice would have to be to make sure as soon as possible that your doctors are fully aware of your weakness, weight loss and any other symptoms u may be having. That way u will have any treatment (or reassurance) u may need quickly.
Best of luck
I am diabnetic since 2009 and hypertension too. Yes my blood sugar is HBA1c 8.8. I have started lchf diet from 22.11.2015. I want to get rid of weakness and higher FBS ( 150 )
Hi again, not sure what the Ichf diet is sorry but your HbA1c is a bit high. Guessing ur a Type 2, which don't have personal experience of as Type 1 myself. But my daughter is borderline Type 2 on Metformin and is using diet & exercise pretty successfully to reduce her insulin resistance & reduce her blood sugars. Know she felt ill & weak when the docs took her off Metformin for a short time, so wondering if your weakness is partly due to your medication or lack of it. But again, would say that u need to talk to your diabetes team about your weakness and check out your diet with them too.
Sorry can't help more but all the best
