Diet pepsi

I LOVE diet Pepsi, and resisted giving them up as my doctors wanted. I finally was able to for 6 months, and my persistent high blood sugars plunged to normal. No change in diet or exercise )although I am being good anyway). You would think that would be enough, but it is my addiction of sorts and during a particular tough and stressful 2 weeks with little sleep, I picked up " the bottle" again. Anyone else have this kind of reaction to lowering artificial sweeteners?

I gave up diet pepsi years ago and recently think splenda was causing me high readings. Am using stevia now and trying to cut back on that as well. I guess I will need to cut out all artificial sweetners from my diet. Diane
