Hi been on the healthy diet now for 4days diabetic on insulin and metformin had 2 hypos already not a good start any ideas?

If you are on a low carb lifestyle change then the meds are likely to be too high. See your doctor about reducing.
I actually control my own insulin so you are right I probably need to reduce the dose slightly and record my blood sugars if I still have problems I will see my specialist thanks
You may be interested in the work of Dr. Jason Fung. Here's a link to his latest blog post. You might find his Youtube on his lectures very informative as well. His approach to T2 is one of diet and fasting and reducing or eliminating meds.

Very interesting thankyou I have always known healthy eating is the best way to control blood sugar levels but continuing the 'diet' has always been my downfall until now I am determined to loose weight and hopefully reduce insulin which makes me very hungry thanks again
Have you talked with your Endocrinologist? What did he/she say? Do they know you started the healthy diet?
