I have burning on my left side

Hi there I'm a diabetic I have been burn on mybleft side of my body from my pelvis area to my feet .It's been going on for a long time now I thought it was normal part of being a diabetic. Can anyone tell me what to do about this please.

Fat buddy, your pain may be due to a common condition called sciatica. The other condition which is more likely is that there is some nerve compression in the Lower spinal region. So please consult an orthopaedic surgeon.a spinal region X-ray is essential.
