Hi , I am diabetic. My reading is 8.6. I also feel dizzy and light headed every day. I am 58 male, 1.8 m tall and weigh 92 kg. Can someone help.

I would talk to your doctor or diabetic nurse. Blood sugar is at top end of recommended levels but still reasonable. If you are feeling light headed or dizzy this could be other causes such as blood pressure or becoming dehydrated if not drinking enough as well as dependant upon your diet - you may not be eating enough calories that your body needs each day just to function. As I say there is no substitute for professional advice.

Are you saying at the top end of normal and does not need drugs, just a careful diet?
