Wonder if other drugs for your condition have side effects worse than metformin?

What are your BBF, Post-Lunch & HbA1c Readings ?

Thanks

In the face of it your condition leads to weight gain and metformin also leads to that so your endo should not have prescribed metformin. However, there is a blogger Janie who sees hashimitos thyroid as advance indicator of insulin resistance. Personally I am against metformin. At age 61 I brought down my A1C from 11.6% to 6.0% without any drugs. [stopthethyroidmadness.com › Janie’s Blog]

Hashimoto disease is an auto immune disease. It can be associated with other auto immune disease eg.diabetes type1.if thyroid function is normalised, there is also improvement in bs levels. It is not known if there is hypo or hyperthyroidism.Insulin is better option.
