Diabetes???

Hi! So for about a month now I’ve had some symptoms of diabetes. I’ve had bad thirst, frequent urination, dizziness and light headiness. My mum has type 1 diabetes, today I used her glucose tester about 3 hours after a meal and the result was 7.4. Is this concerning or normal??? My mum said it was normal however I don’t know if she’s just trying to make me not worry?

Hi my daughter is Type 1 and your mum is right 7.4 is normal. But if you are unsure go see your GP, something else might be causing you problem maybe a mild kidney infection
