Awww 😕....wow that's a lot of things going on! Do you have a diabetes specialist at the hospital you can work with cos first thing I would think if to get blood sugar controlled. There are several things now a days that can help i.e. sensors, insulin pumps compared to multiple injections how I started out 25 years ago. I trust you can get help cos it's not easy trying to sort it on your own 🤗
He was diagnosed over 20 years ago but was left never had an appointment or seen anyone till about 4 years ago and the damage was already done , he sees a dietitian, diabetic nurse and a diabetic doctor, he currently has the lebra freestyle 2 sensor , is in 2 lots of insulin one taken with food has been told to take 20 units every time he eats and a and one at night which is a slow release one and is on 54 units
Ahh....that's good u are on the right track now with seeing specialists! 🙂👍But wow....that's crazy u never had any follow up appointments! I get seen every 6-12 months.
