Back in 2019 I was diagnosed with prediabetes after a routine blood test picked up higher than normal blood sugar levels.
My GP did a glucose tolerance test and diagnosed me with prediabetes. So I stopped having sugar in my coffee and started having sugar free pepsi max.
I also started having thin crust takeaway pizzas instead of deep pan. Anyway my GP did a blood test a few months ago and when I saw him last he said I didn't have diabetes.
I mentioned that I had prediabetes and he said "well you don't anymore". I was quite taken aback by this as I expected to still have it, I don't feel my diet is that great so was quite surprised.
Have I managed to reverse prediabetes?

I didn't think to ask for the HbA1C results. He just said I'm not diabetic and to keep doing what I'm doing. Having been diagnosed with a glucose intolerance before I'm still weary of that. I do get a moderate amount of exercise each day mainly pacing around my flat waiting to go out. I do this for maybe 2.5 hours most week days.
Got my latest HbA1C results today from September they were 38 mmol/mol (5.6%). It means I am not diabetic. Doctor says they only say if you are diabetic or not.
