Does anyone using Neupro see dots or color blocks sometimes?

I know what "floaters" are, but these aren't floaters--they are color blocks that fill in space or sometimes little dots that move across the floor like ants

I just started using the Neupro Patch a week ago. (2mg). It was great for the first 4 days. I was able to walk for longer periods of time, and my dystonia subsided some. Then all of a sudden I was back to square one. I wish I knew what happened. I will call the doctor next week,,but I am sure she will tell me to give it more time.

I don't see dots or colored blocks at all. How long have you been on it and what is your dosage?

I've been taking Neupro --4mg-- since August. I can't say that it's doing much--either way-- except the eye issue. An ophthalmologist examined. My eyes and determined that my eyes are healthy-- that it must be a side effect. I called my Neuro who has now reduced the patch to 2mg-- suggesting that these eye hallucinations are a side effect of Neupro.

Electric blue flashes and squares come to mind.

I do think the Neupro patches are a wierd drug

It works well for the PD but some very strange effects at times.

I don't have Parkinsons, but my husband does, and it affects his vision considerably. I do have floaters and color blocks. The color blocks occur right before an ocular migraine-I wonder if the Neupro patches are causing a type of migraine. The specialist my husband saw said that some Parkinsons patients have to have prisms put into their glasses because their vision is affected. Not blinking enough, causes dry eye, and right now, he's have a terrible time with bifocals not bringing print into focus. He's never used the patch.
