SWEATING A ROUND THE HEAD ?

HI I have started getting very sweaty a round my head .

i was wondering if it my DBS ?

The DBS stopped my sweats only when I m trying to hard and the meds are slow do I have sweating problems. Nothing as bad as before surgery.

I haven't had any surgery nor has it even been mentioned. I was diagnosed 10 years ago with PD and have been doing fairly well. Now the sweats. Thy are unbarable and I'm sufferring drenching ones. They are mainly from my entire head and neck areas. They put me on hormone therapy but soon realized it was from my PD or my combination of meds. What surgery did you have that took care of the sweats?

I have had my DBS on one side only, since 2006! I sweat around my head too! I think it is the medicines, maybe? But I had that problem before I was on meds also. But my Primary Physician thinks I had this 10 years before I was diagnosed! As always, talk to your doctor and read the inserts that come with your meds!

Only other time my head is sweaty is when I have a fever. Have

you taken your temperature. Maybe a low grade fever lurking.

I am not ill .

I am very sweaty . Just about my belly .

As for having a temperatuer I feel cold .

I didn't think my unusual sweating was PD related, now I'll have to ask my Dr. Thanks for info

I didn't know that it seem to effect a lot of pd more than i knew.

i am woudering if my darling husband has p.d becaues his fot head is all ways sweeting and his hand shakes and he is in constant pain.

he soor a consultant last year ,who said its not pd but i do have pd

I get night sweats and hot flashes from pd or the meds for it. Never had the surgery.
