My husband is suffering with very bad sweating at night. It is so bad that during the night the pillows sheets and duvet are very wet and need to be changed.

Me too I think its the weather, I do not take any medication but it only happened a few weeks ago the duvets get really wet is it possible that you could have a lighter duvet? I have a feeling that this happened when my wife clanged the duvet.

Thank you for your reply. I have a light duvet on the bed, but he has been suffering from sweats for awhile even when the weather was very cold. Thank you for your reply.

I am sorry about the sweating--it gets old washing the linens all the time. This happened to me early on in my 8 year fight with pd...also with drooling. It stopped for awhile, now its back. You wake up soaked, then you get cold then because it's summer you get hot again. I know there are many more pd irritants than this but this sure is annoying. Good luck!

Thank you Schells. This PSP has no pattern. My husband has this disease at least 9 years. Symptoms show up each person at different times, but we will all carry on and have good days and bad days.

This happens to my husband when it's hot, but he doesn't have PD. Is it very hot where you are?

I have had Parkinson's disease for many years. I find that I go through spells of the same thing. There are mornings I wake up and the bedsheets are drenched. It seems to come and go for me and does not seem temperature related. It also does not seem to correlate to any changes in my other symptoms.

I had the problem and was told by my doctor that it was common for PD. However, once I turned the A/C down (its set at 67) and runs all night the problem disappeared. Besides for insomnia you should have the A/C down in the same area (67).

Hi Putkand.

My husband has fairly advanced Parkinson's..

he does not have night sweats, but certainly after his afternoon Parkinson's needs

His face goes very red, and he gets sweaty,

I believe his is due to the. Parkinson's meds..

I would discuss this with you're Parkinson's nurse., if it was me. 🌼

My husband was doing for quite a while and then it seemed to stop. He has been recently diagnosed with PD. Prior they chalked it up to anxiety.
