I have found if I am late in taking my sinemet. Or forget to watch when or what I eat . The sweat literally drips off my face and hair. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

Hi. I have had that happen many times. I usually run cold water on a washcloth and put that on on my face or neck. The other thing that helps is running cold water over my wrists. If it is really bad, I soak my feet in cold water. Some think it is disease related, but it only happens to me when the carbidopa levodopa (generic sinemet) is wearing off. Good luck to you!

Same thing happens to me since I started taking Encaptone so I agree that it's the meds.

Yes. This happened to me too! It was 20min after i took the sinemet. I was drenched and so scared i ended up overnight in the hospital cardiac unit. Just some minor arythmias. I am now on Neupro.
