I've been increasingly frustrated at how many times I repeat a letter or a space while typing. Yesterday I realized I can change the speed response on my keyboard to "slow". I only typed one letter twice on this post! Little freedoms!

Improving typing:
I have a Mac.
Applications, system preferences (or the icon that looks like cogs at the bottom of the screen), keyboard, set key repeat rate to "slow" and delay until repeat to "long". Good luck!

Nancy,
I'VE HAD PRETTY GOOD LUCK W/ DRAGON WORD PROCESSING.
THANKS. I have the same thing when I type. My fingers don't hit the keys hard enough to register so you can imagine what my memos look like. All these red marks, feel like I'm back in 1st grade at catholic school! My friends excuse my mistakes but everyone else I take the time to correct, but it's not fast! There is nothing worse, again for me, than texting!!
Will look into that one for my hubby thankyou
To slow down repeat typo problem with Windows PC click on printers and devices. Right click keyboard. In keyboard preferences use sliders to increase or decrease repeats. Job done
For PCs, you can also slow down the double-click rate on the mouse.
