Typing trickiness

My tremor is speeding up, making for foul-ups in typing. Does anyone use Dragon Dictate or any other voice-recognition program? If so, how goes it?

My husband has this problem also, very bad tremor in both hands

I have used Dragon Dictate for Mac. It can be very frustrating, especially if you are trying to correct errors in transcription. The instruction manual is dauntingly long but often not clear on how to solve a problem. I also find that because of my PD my voice changes from day to day and this creates a challenge for the software. That said, I just bought the latest version as an upgrade--it's the only game in town and I'm hopeful that advertised improvements will really make a difference.

I wrote most of my book, If I Can Climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, Why Can't I Brush My Teeth, using Dragon for Mac. Then, for some great reason, related to Sinemet and cycling, my fingers started working again and I'm typing away using all 10 digits.
