Bryan Johnson is the most fanatical health guru (on YouTube,) but generally right about much stuff such as sleep techniques.
I switched my intermittent fasting to take place the last half of the day instead of the first half because of him. I quit eating and drinking at 4:30 pm, often 2:30 pm, and go to bed at 10 pm because I believe not having high blood sugar at bedtime helps me sleep.
I use melatonin, taken 30 minutes before bedtime. I is available without prescription.

Phenergan works for my husband. He only needs quarter of a tablet. Its an antihistamine.
