Really works. It also is a detox for heavy metals. Available in different prices end different forms. Some of it is a powder and some of it is a spray in the mouth. Lots of information on Google. If you tried everything else and nothing seems to work, nothing to lose, try zeolite.

I was searching for it the other day. I soon got a bit confused because I was reading at some places that Zeolite is an industrial chemical and not safe for oral consumption. Not sure what to conclude, I abandoned my search

So is the Zeolite you are talking about safe to be taken orally for detoxing?

Here is a report on zeolite from ‘self hacked’

selfhacked.com/blog/zeolite...

And here a product that claims to be FDA compliant: ‘The FDA issued a "No Objection" letter to this notification to market G-PUR in the U.S.’

If memory serves me zeolite is used in a water softener.

Zeolite is a well recognized adsorber. Whether it "detoxifies" in the way we might mean is a religious question.

The question I was asking is if it is safe to be taken orally

Yes, zeolites (there are a number of forms) are reportedly quite safe, or more accurately, likely harmless and not known to be harmful...if you know that's actually what you're ingesting. There are fibrous and non-fibrous zeolites, and some of them are synthetic. Really there is no one particular "zeolite," it's really a term for a class of aluminosilicate molecules, basically minerals composed of one or another structure of aluminium and silicas, silicas being calcium crystals of various shapes. They have scads of microscopic pores on their surface that collect various other minerals and substances, especially those ions with a positive electrical charge. They are mined and created in labs for various uses in various industries.

There's very very little research as of yet one way or the other re human consumption. They function as filters and vary widely in what they do because they do their filtering, or removing, based on the specific shape of the particular molecule, which corresponds to the shape they fit or don't fit to whatever medium they are performing in. They can be made to filter smells, moisture, different substances or ions, they can remove substances from a medium (this is what we probably intend to mean when we talk about "detoxifying").

Thank you Marion, it is such an important mineral that I wish I knew about it long ago.

Based on this info... I need to kick start my search again and find a brand for detoxing.. thanks

Zeolite is great way to detox. But avoid the liquid form. It may be okay for convenience but the powder form is more economical. We have found ZeoHealth.com to be a very trustworthy company. ZEO Health Ltd. is the original manufacturer of zeolite supplements in the United States. They have been in business since 1999 and are one of the most experienced zeolite supplement manufacturers in the world. You can find all you want to know about zeolite on their website.

I tried it by chance. I was on Facebook, a Parkinson Support Group. A perrenial question got asked, what to do about constipation? A lady said she gave it to her mother, and in couple days she had a bowel movement. She gave the name of the product, it was Advanced TRS by Coseva. Is very expensive, I got it for a little less money on eBay. This one is spray in nano-sized particles. But there is a lot of good products on the internet, just have to read about it. It really really works. I am just plain amazed. I have tried different things and never had a very satisfactory results or consistent.

Zeolitepowderdetox.com

Lots of info, sounds like a good product.

I'm a huge fan of zeolite. I came across it when I had early stage prostate cancer and it really did clean the heavy metals out of my system so prostate cancer disappeared. Now I have PD i am back on it again.

Hi again Getz. Where do you source it here in Australia? Alan has a lot of fibre including prunes and prune juice, but still doesn't go every day.

How are going with the mannitol?

I buy my zeolite from the US. It has to be micronized to really get into the bloodstream and attach to the heavy metals. Shall post a link when I get home

liquidzeolitecompany.com/ This is my supplier of zeolite. Approx $10 a bottle for a larger order. Zeolite is the opposite charge to heavy metals so attaches to them and is excreted. Worth while doing a bit of research on it

Hi Gwendoline. Mannitol and L-Serine plus a few other things seems to be going fine but I don't seem to be able to find those memories that disappeared. I'm failing to recognize people I should know. Also forgetting tasks a day or so later. Oh well I'm still independent.

gwendolinej profile image
gwendolinej in reply toGetz

Thanks for that. Maybe given time your memory will improve or maybe it won't get any worse. Alan does have some memory problems, particularly remembering tasks on a regular basis. Before mannitol his neurologist was thinking dementia. We saw him yesterday and he thought Alan looked great. He checked his walking, his hand and feet movements and did the pull test. All had improved. He also noted his improved facial expression. Alan's apathy was so extreme, so the change after starting on mannitol was also extreme.

One thing that confuses thing is that he had a small stroke about 3 years. There didn't seem to be any side affects, but it showed up on an MRI in the same spot as the Parkinsons.

I had an email recently from the sales manager, Lily Guezengar from Eustralis in Queensland, asking about my interest in mannitol. She'd heard from the Melbourne office, after my phone call. I rang her today to fill her in on why we wanted mannitol. She was so interested and said she'd speak to her customer service people and tell them to be flexible re ordering mannitol.

Great news from Eustralis Qld. Interesting that the MRI showed stroke and PD occurred in the same place.

I order my zeolite from Liquid Zeolite Co. Inc.

Hi Getz,

Just have a question.

Does this liquid zeolite good enough to do its job when it comes to constipation?

(Just need to learn and know, in case my mother needs it going into next year or so...)

Getz profile image
Getz in reply toJohn_morris71

John, I have no idea about zeolite and constipation. I have only used it daily for a month or so then give it a break for another month then on it again. For constipation I simply use bicarb soda in a glass of water. Normally 1/2 teaspoon keeps me regular. If I have a teaspoon it goes straight through. I think its a matter of trial and error. The bicarb soda also alkalizes the body.
