Acetylcholine and Parkinson

Dear members, My mom is a PD patient. She is on CR Levadopa Carbidopa 175mg per day. Ropinirole CR 4 mg, Safinamide 100mg. Her essential proble is peak dose dsykinesia and fatigue closed to off times.

The doctor also prescribed Rivamer 1.5. This seems to be cholinesterase inhibitor. Does thisdo good for PD? My mom for some reason feels very tired if she takes this. Is this somehow contradictory?

Thanks

Hi, I don't have experience of Rivamer but I have tried other Parkinson's meds which made me very sleepy. I think it's often a trade-off: do the benefits of a particular treatment exceed the disadvantages for the individual?

Good luck to you and your mother!
