Is this a PD sign? It happens anyway with age so how do you know what the root problem is? A few days ago I finished a treadmill workout in our shed and as I was walking away my legs gave out. Suddenly I was on the ground. Ultimately I was able to get up and shuffle into the house. I posted and got several responses that suggested the weakness was PD-related. I remembered I had creatine on a bathroom shelf. I took 3 grams yesterday and today. I feel swelling of the thigh muscles which I think is because of the creatine. Creatine pulls fluid into muscles. The fluid brings amino acids that deposit in the muscles. So the muscles get stronger.
Is anyone using creatine for this weakness?

Saludos
For how long did you wallk on the treadmill? If you walk fast on a treadmill every day and sor more thna one hour at a time. then you are not doing yourslef any good.
Walking fast on grass for one hour every second day is the best and cheapest way of reversing PD movement symptoms, I have had PD for over 31 years and am still doing fast walking at the age of 89.
About a year and a half ago, when my PD symptoms increased significantly due to my B6 deficiency, the annual blood test also revealed a very low creatine level. Somewhat reluctantly, I bought one of those large containers meant for athletes. I stopped taking it this year when my level returned to 'normal.' My motto remains to only take supplements if it's evident that you're not getting enough through food.
In my opinion, the improvement I experienced was almost 100% due to my B6 supplementation, but creatine will not be able to hurt. Also I have no ambition whatsoever in sports or gym, the saddest place to stay...
John thanks for the reply. I use a treadmill because I live on a small, winding road with a lot of crazy drivers. Three days a week I do a HIIT workout. That's running at 5mph and 10% grade. I run for 30 seconds then jump off to recover. After 90 seconds I do the next sprint. I do 8 or 10 sprints. During the sprints I'm always on the verve of being tossed off the tread. I used to use 8% grade. 10% grade is getting too easy so I'm planning to got to 12%. Ten 15%. Often I'll walk for an hour after the sprints but not at any real speed, just to warm down.
