Hi Rabilo
Is there anything that you like doing? If there is then what do you think motivates you to do it?
Hello John Pepper - I hope you don't mind me asking you again about your fast walking advice. Until I get to both maximum goals ( speed and time ) should I do the 1 full hour continuous and build to my maximum speed or do my maximum speed (7kph) and build to 1 full hour continuous. I can't do both as of now but have made 50% improvements since my first contact with you - thank you. John Quinn San Antonio, Texas USA
Do something different, or something you love. What works for me?......I love horses, and so I joined the local RDA ( Riding for the disabled) . I don't feel or look like a Parkie when I'm on a horse! I'm having Mickel therapy, and one of the keys is to do something creative that you really enjoy every day. I do the colouring books for grown ups, and make cards to send to friends. If my back pain allows me to, I play the piano for a little while. You'll find something that works for you to raise the dopamine !
Good morning Rabilo,
I am under Modopar and High Dose Thiamin (vitamin B1).
This summer I have experienced everyday an excessive tiredness with no wish to do anything.
My problem was solved when I added Magnesium supplementation (2 400 mg/day). Permanent tiredness has now gone ! I am enjoying gardening and sport activities...
I hope it might help you.
PS : in fall/winter time, I supplement also with vitamin D - as they say that the poor sun hours are not enough to provide all the vitamin D which is needed to properly assimilate the Magnesium supplement.
Have you tried High Dose Thiamine (B1) and exercise. I recommend Dap1949’s book and her Facebook Group. B1 has done wonders for me...
I like taking NAC, & a vitamin B complex together
Could it be a symptom of depression?
I take depression pills and tell myself I do not want to get worse . There is nothing more important than exercising. I am in my 18th year and am advanced PD . Use to do 1 and half hour walks before breakfast. Now I do 30 minutes . First thing exercising is what works for me. If I don’t do first thing then I don’t do them. Routine is very important to me. 18 years of this and routine works. Blessings and good luck
