For the first time I had extreme fatigue today. I am so exhausted I just couldn’t even make myself move. I know I did some housework, but it didn’t seem like that much. Am I short a vitamin? Anyone experience this? Sorry for so many questions lately.

fatigue
I was doing a search on Parkinson's and fatigue and I was disappointed in the lack of helpful tips but this article has a little bit of information. It sounds like diet could be somewhat helpful and that dehydration could possibly make fatigue worse.
possible short a vitamin or trace element but probably short of dopamine.
The energy factory of the cells of the body is the mitochondria. The reason you have Parkinson's is that the mitochondria in your brain cells are damaged, and the reason that you feel fatigued is that the damge is extending to the rest of your body.
Have a look at this video for a full explanation of mitochondria (in this case specificaly about metabolic syndrome but the the solution is the same). youtu.be/yVCD_e0IlTI?si=nvY...
18 years with PD - fatigue is a constant issue . I take the energetic moments I new have and forget about the rest . Beyond our control is fatigue . Exercise and enjoy the energetic moments. God bless us all .
If this is a completely new/one time thing really you COULD just be coming down with something. Give yourself a break, rest, and see if you feel better in a few days!
Hi,
Drugs to increase wakefulness (stimulants) can all have side effects. Concerta and or Modafinil (not sure which to be honest) almost ended our marriage. Uncharacteristic aggression and agitation was life altering for our family. Day time sleepiness was so severe full time employment was not possible.....so asleep and unemployed or awake and in prison were our options. If they work for some, great. Caution required.
diagnosed with Pd in 2015. Past year or two I have lived with debilitating fatigue. Sheer exhaustion. I can no longer exercise, too fatigued. Neuro feels 1 of 3 things could be exacerbating my pd symptom of fatigue.. 1 mood. I have tried about 6 antidepressants and a stimulant, all to no avail. 2. Sleep issues apnea, I went for sleep study, didn’t show anything. 3. Fluctuating blood pressure. Went for dysautonomia testing last week, waiting for results. I am beginning to think I will have to live with this horrific disease symptom
Get your b12 levels checked. Mine were extremely low. Once a month I get b12 shots. I also had bad anxiety. Have been on anxiety med and between shots and meds I'm sleeping better and in my case the fatigue is gone.
