Earlier I wrote how my grandmother became restless on 300mg/day TTFD, so discontinued thiamine and started back down to 200 capsules per day on July 25th.
I was using thiamax brand TTFD, which is currently out of stock, so I purchased their alternative thiamega capsules. So when I say '2 capsules per day', I was using 1 thiamax and 1 thiamega for the last week, and now all I have left is thiamega. The thiamega claims to have more total B1 than the thiamax capsules, so thought she might become restless again on thiamega two capsules per day.
Instead, for the last few days she has looked sedated, where I have to wake her up in between spoons of food and she falls asleep instantly when placed back in bed. So today I gave her 3 thiamega capsules, and plan on continuing to see if she will become restless again.
If she does not become restless after a few days, I would have to consider that either (1) she became restless earlier by coincidence or (2) the thiamax capsules were legitimate but the thiamega capsules are filled with chalk instead of thiamine.

I recorded a video of her being restless on July 22, (later on in that day, her feet/legs ended up onto of the blue foldable mattress next to her bed - from all her wobbling around she rotated and lifted her legs onto that item).

And when I look at the video clips of her eating at that time, it seems like the restlessness prevents her from falling asleep when eating, which I guess is better than her sleeping at the table when left unattended.
