Cue1 Charco Neurotech

Hi, I have been offered a Cue1 device from Charco Neurotech. Does anyone have any experience of this device and if so has it been helpful with tremors? I was diagnosed a year ago and have left hand and leg tremor and some awkwardness in walking. Still managing Pilates and tai chi for which I am grateful but exercise is much more tiring now. Thanks!

And I believe you can send it back within a certain timeframe if it doesn't do anything for you.

Hi I'm new on here, I'm also waiting for the cue1 device, I'm so sick of these awful tremors on my left side and face. Katy

Hi Katy, I know how you feel, I'm fairly new to this too, it's hard to accept that this is the 'new me'. Sending you good wishes.

How long were u on waiting list? and how much does it cost? Thanks.

I’ve been on the list since Sept 2022. Cost is £295 ex VAT (I think you don’t pay the VAT if you have a P diagnosis). You can also pay by instalments.

Hi Lamadre, did you have to pay VAT in the end? Also, how are you finding it?

Lamadre in reply to Sun_and_flowers

Hi, I have paid the VAT but will ask about the possibility of reclaiming it when they come to fit the device later this week. I'll let you know how I get on, fingers crossed it will be helpful!

I'm not sure if you will see this post. How are you getting on with the CUE1 device? My hwp is on the waiting list. I've heard from 2 other pwp having great benefit with speech and walking. 😃

Hi again, do you have to have it fitted or can i do it myself?

I think you can do it yourself. I had 2 people who came to show me what to do but I was about to go on holiday and didn't want a buzzy thing stuck to my chest! They said some people just hold it in their hand and get some relief from the vibration. My mum has a vibrating foot cushion (a Christmas present years ago!), it definitely feels good on my feet but doesn't get rid of any tremor. I expect I'm not a good tester as I don't use it constantly! Hope it helps once you have yours.
