Just found out that L-dopa reacts to oxidizing agents. Some bottled water has oxidizing agents. Taking l-dopa with the bottled water or after using toothpaste or mouthwash might be contributing to shortness of breath. Anyone else experience this?

Thank you. I’m beginning to think that this is a reaction to an inactive ingredient in the generic Carbidopa Levodopa I’m using.
Request a different manufacturer for c/l at your pharmacy. I've been doing this for a while even though it's no guarantee. Many peeps think all generics are the same and as good as brand name. Trust your gut feeling, you are likely right about the fillers.
