hypothesis, demonstrating that Dihexa, given by abdominal injection or orally, completely restored lost motor function. Moreover, staining for tyrosine hydroxylase (TH), a marker for the dopamine neurons that were lost following chemical lesioning, returned to near normal after 34 days of treatment. Studies are still ongoing to determine whether this recovery of TH staining was due to the presence of new nerve cells and/or the expansion of the appendages of surviving neurons.

A nootropics website is selling what they say is dihexa for $130 a gram. Found some at a chemical supply house, $700 for 10 milligrams. Also found a questionable clinic that allegedly offers it as therapy.

Available from China at $70-$80 per gram. alibaba.com/

For dosage I found a mouse study of dihexa in Alzheimer's: researchgate.net/publicatio...

The equivalent human dose for the most effective mouse dosage, 2.88 mg/kg, would be .24 mg/kg, amounting to about 15 milligrams daily for a 60 kilogram human. 15 milligrams is just a tiny pinch of substance. One gram of dihexa would last a couple of months for anyone brave enough to try this.

I also found this reference to successful unpublished work:

frontiersin.org/articles/10...

"Our laboratory has recently synthesized [dihexa] to overcome the motor dysfunctions that follow 6-OHDA-induced lesions of the substantia nigra pars compacta in the rat (unpublished results). This compound, called Dihexa, significantly improved both rope hang times and stride length over the course of a 48-day treatment period."

Very interesting. I'd love to hear someone's philosophy on their dosage and how long they plan on taking Dihexa

I will try and post some feedback

All of my previous and current attempts clearly helped me to stop PD progression and reduce the amount of medication, perhaps even reverse it a bit, so I have a high hopes!
