H2o Therapeutics has received 510(k) clearance for an Apple Watch app that monitors Parkinson's disease symptoms such as tremors and dyskinesia. The smartwatch app uses Apple's movement disorder API and the inertial sensors of the device to provide insights into patients' symptoms between visits to their clinicians.

That would be great! Please let us know, if you get more info. about this. My Apple Phone and Apple Watch apps. for heart rate, and EKG are extremely helpful to me, with the heart condition that I have! In fact, I had an emergency, where my watch detected ventricular tachycardia, that lasted a long time, needing Emergency Services! So, I would appreciate an app. for my PD problems!

I use StrivePD, which was approved by the FDA for use with the Apple Watch in June. It’s free and available to all pwp and care partners, with or without the watch in the App Store.
