My name is Margarida, I'm Portuguese have 48 years and Parkinson since 36. I live in England since 2016. I'm Married have two daughters one with 20 and other 10. When youngest born I already had Parkinson two years and had to decided if stop medication or abortion was the other option. Stop medication was the solution more easy I made stopped thinking about Parkinson work until the day before she born and after 4 days I started work with some limitations but don’t give up. Now after 10 years a still working 3,5h a day. I’m doing apomorphine infusion 24h day and reduce the other medication.
Don’t quite for Parkinson

Hi Koalas. You are very brave. I am sre you would do very well if you were to do Fast Walking , as I have no longer taken any Pd medication since 2003. If you would like to know more about how I did this, then contact me john.pepper.rpd@gmail.com and I will send you all the details and videos, free of charge.
Well done. You could try Mucuna Pruriens also. We buy it on eBay Uk. Pure Selva based in North Yorkshire or Scarborough. My husband has been using it for about 5 years.
Jeanie - Looking into this for my PWP. Can you say what the benefits your husband finds over Prescription levo-dopa? We feel my PWP is suffering from terrible side effects of Sinemet/Madapar.
Hello Margerida,You are very generous to share with us your journey. Why don't you try one of the strategies that are believed to slow progression (physical training, mannitol, CDP choline, N-acetyl cysteine) or mitochondrial support (high dose B1)?
I understand you have been through some level of progression. You are young, these strategies carry very little side effects and might buy us time.
You are a true inspiration to all; thank you for sharing your story. Love and prayers to you, Margarida! I saved your post so I can read it again and again. 💞💞
Happy to hear your story I am intrigued by the growing awareness and stories of Young Onset Parkinson's Disease (YOPD). I am researching and trying to get an understanding of why this is so. I was diagnosed at the age of 48 and I commend you for having a positive attitude after encountering the terrible condition at an even younger age of 36.
Just curious, have you been under a lot of stress in your life?
