Herpes attack worsen parkinson

After 6 and half years of medication for Parkinson i have got Herpes (9CHICKEN POX) attack in the left side of head, neck and ear.

Is it harmful... will my Parkinson get impacted more?

If you're prescribed an antiviral medication, check it for interactions with your PD meds.

Any illness we get on top of pd can make things worse for a while. Thats not a nice place to get shingles, hope you have medical advice, if you start an antiviral med quickly you may be able to stop the shingles getting too bad .

HAD VALTOVAL 1 GM 3 TIMES A DAY FOR 7 DAYS, FLUCIDIN CREAM 2 TIMES A DAY AND CAPSULE MAHAGABA M 75 FOR 20 DAYS.

MY BLISTERS HAVE DRIED UP BUT THEIR IS SHARP PAIN IN THE EAR PERIPHERY OCCASIONALLY BUT THE CRUST HAS NOT FALLEN OFF. TODAY IS 17 TH DAY OFF MEDICATION...19 DAYS WHEN IT STARTED.
