PS128 Probiotic

Hi

Currently have my HWP on Symprove probiotic as they have been trialling that in the UK at Kings College Hospital for Parkinson’s. However there haven’t been any results.

We did briefly try PS128 which I could only find in France. Having seen a very positive comment on here I wonder if he should swap back? Also is anyone in the UK using PS128 and where do you source it from?

Thanks

Ciao Londra, I used Symprove for qualche mese ma senza risultati apparenti. Attualmente sto usando, come hai scritto, il prodotto francese (ho trovato solo questo), PS128 Neurobiotique di Synergia. Speriamo bene, ma sono processi molto lunghi.

Recentemente e per alcuni mesi ho preso Biokult Mind in quanto contiene Bacillus Subtilis PXN21 che sembra benefico per il PD. Poi come ho detto, I preferred to change.

?? What language, are you expecting someone else to do the translation for you?

Surely I did something wrong, sorry. You should calm down.

Just use google translate. It can work out the language. By the way English isn’t the only language out there!

I know google translate exist and I didn't really ASK FOR YOUR HELP to translate.

The primary language on HU is English, though it is understandable if the poster can't write in English. In this case this is not so. What's stopping me from replying in my mother tongue Ibibio which google translate cannot even pick up

By the way I only made a request.. And also google translate often does a one to one translation instead of context translation,, which means that google translate mostly gets the real translation wrong. I've experienced that many times. So whenever its possible to avoid using it, avoid it

Eventually nobody can force anyone not to write in some random language, so it was a request... in case you didn't know

This happens when using the "translate" function automatically, when the correction is saved, everything is translated into Italian and sent instead of remaining in English. More or less.

Thanks Laj for translating. My error occurred when I corrected the already translated text.

Sorry I wasn't aware that a technical issue forced you to post in that language, more so that it happened 2ce. I would have thought its unlikely to make the same mistake twice. Even then you could have deleted it, reset google translate and repost. Anyway have a great day 🙂

Thanks Gioc for explaining the issue to me

Ciao Fed1000 - How is it going with the Neurobiotique by Synergia? Do you prefer the Biokult Mind?My husband has been using the Neurobiotique for about 3 weeks but I think it is too early to say if there any benefits.

Thanks for this Michel. Is it the same product as the one made in Taiwan? Have you had good results since using it?

Hello

I am not sure but I suspect not.

I only started 10 days ago and I think it is too early to say. I will report on any success.

Hi Michel, did you notice any improvement in your symptoms since using Neurobiotique? Thanks

Hi Gerry I really wished I could be more positive but not really…

I am using Neurobiotique, the only supplier I could find in the UK, and I’m not impressed.

If anyone has other suppliers to recommend in the UK, I will be very glad to hear about them.

My husband has been taking the Wellbeing one from Taiwan and has seen some results. He only takes 1 sachet a day . That has additional K21 in. I don't know if that makes a difference. Problem is it is out of stock. I looked at the Italian one but cannot understand how to Order. It is on offer now. I looked at the Amazon Uk one. It does not have K21 in. I first tried him on a cheaper version that has Lactobaccillus Plantera in called Swansons L-Plantera. It is £4.99 for 30. I ordered it from Bodyfit. I am going to see if there is a difference if he takes this. He has had DBS and it complicates things sometimes. That is why he is on half the dose at the moment.

Thank you very much for this Jeanie. I am still on the French one for now at 2 sachets per day. I may start to feel some benefits but, to be frank, I have made some other changes to my supplements recently so I’m not sure if it can be attributed to the PS128

JeanieBeanie profile image
JeanieBeanie in reply toMichel0220

Yes. To be fair my husband has too. I can't help but feel there may be a bit of "ripping off' going on also. We did get the Taiwan one on offer so that was good.

Agreed. Having said that, PS128 aside, I have a better digestion with Synergia’s Neurobiotique than with Symprove. And I didn’t keep my Neurobiotique in the fridge at the start so maybe this has made it less effective. Jury is still out…

Hi Michel

How are you getting on withPS128?

Thanks

Hi Annie. I have not used it in long time, initially for supply issues. I have been using Symprove instead with very good results. I believe PS128 was doing nothing special for me to be honest.

If you carry on using Symprove then are you aware that if you have a Parkinson's uk membership number, then when u order next time u can ask for a 10% discount. ( if not a PUK member its a 2 min registration and a few days to get posted a memb number)

Hi there. Is Symprove the way to go for PS128 in the UK? It looks like Bened are also licensing to Optibiotix but there don't seem to be any suitable productions on their website. Wellbeing.sg are still selling in Singapore but price has gone up to $45 a box....

I buy mine from wellbeing.sgMy mother who has been diagnosed with mild dementia takes the MIND whilst my husband takes the ACTIVE. Together with coronet duo both have experienced big improvements.
