What's the best supplements/medicine to help regularly detox (remove toxic and harmful chemicals from your body)?

And more importantly how do such supplements or medicine selectively know how to leave the good chemicals and remove the harmful ones?

EDTA can be used a suppository. EDTA is what we have used to chelate. You have to replace the minerals lost, with trace minerals.

I have used a product called Advanced TRS from Coseva that I could tell was working on detoxing. I was interrupted and did not finish the full detox. You can read many testimonials about it on the Facebook pages. It's a zeolite solution, I was taking it to detox from chemicals as I know that is a problem I probably have leading to my PD. I haven't coughed up the money for testing as yet, maybe this year.

Grumpy77, The skin is the largest organ in the body. Among its many functions are absorption and excretion. I figure since many of us probably absorbed toxic chemicals thru our skin, shouldn't we be able to eleminate them the same way.. thru the skin? Since my sweetheart removed the tub and set up our infrared sauna in our batroom, I spend 25 minutes each morning in an infrared sauna set to 140 degrees. I sweat like crazy. I also use the time to listen to an inspirational talk, while trying to focus on sitting with my shoulders back and doing deep breathinng exercises. Then I shower, washing the sweat and any toxins pulled out down the drain. I consider it my preventive measure against the covid because my research showed that the virus died at 136 degrees, So if I am breathing hot air at 140 degrees, if anything makes it in, it is cooked. The link below is very informative on benefits of infrared sauna.

I agree with blogger_7 that sweatting is a great soution.

Fasting is another good natural solution and it has other benefits.

Hello Somic, i just tried now checking on Glutathione to confirm its detoxing credentials, but none of the information on Wikipedia or Amazon showed any detoxing properties. It's got a lot of vitamin C though. Can you post some links to show its detoxing properties and which

Thank you

Hi Grumpy77,

here what I found. Pls note that it must be IV or IM not oral.

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl....

ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articl...

Also Perlmutter remarks its importance in PD cure (it increases, for 1 or 2 days, body response to levodopa)

Continued' ;)

When i used it just diagnosed the benefit was visible lasting 2 days (no need of L/C therapy, but i was at the beginning)

Now I'm using it IM once per week or when L/C starts to loose efficacy and dystonia and dyscinesia increase (i.e. Tationil600 = 600 mg in 4 ml water Intramuscolar once every week or detox sessions of 7 days: 7 x 600 mg in the morning)

You can increse dosage to 1200 mg or even more. Just pay attention that in my personal experience the more you need it the more you feel it when it enters the body - not drammatic but I feel weak legs). o nothing to worry about but unexpected.

Erm... I'm confused all over again now, initially I was just searching to see if I could get Glutathione in capsules or tablets because I don't have any skills on injecting myself...

Then I found another school of thought that suggests that the primary purpose of Glutathione is for skin lightening,.. Like skin bleaching!!!

parisadermatology.com/frequ...

Is this a side effect or a primary effect? Either way skin lightening is not an option for me ☺️

I would think it would need to be applied directly to the skin for that to happen. Glutathione, however is essential for many things in the body, I look to it for the anti inflammatory properties and is essential for the brain, especially if you have PD. Capsules have not been found to be particularly useful as it is not absorbed properly. Intravenous, Glutathione accelerator or just NAC are the preferred methods of increasing Glutathione levels. Dr Mischley talks about using it in the nostrils but has to be specially formulated by a compounding pharmacist, sounds expensive. Dr Kharrazian says NAC is the way to go and to be taken daily.

Thanks Rosenmu

By NAC do you mean N-Acetyl-Cysteine?
