Looking into detoxing, has others tried detoxing. I found interesting information on foods to help with this. Curious if others have and did it help. Thanks.

Meds should never ever be stopped at one go as there are withdrawal symptoms.

Reduce them very slowly and each time after reduction one has to look and listen to the body language. How the body accepts it and if it accepts cut further. Never more than 10/12 % at a time

Perhaps rather than trying detoxing your body, you could try a whole new diet regime incorporating the foods which you have read of that help to detoxify the body. Try drinking lots of water, eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. and try to do some daily exercise like a walk.

I think whatever you do, you have to do it in a planned way, so as not to upset your condition.

I have come to realise that any slight change in lifestyle does seem to affect the PD in some way.

Yes, I have tried detoxing...no noticeable results beyond feeling less constipated, which is good.

Best wishes,

How did you go about doing this? Less constipation would help him. Thanks to all for responding to my post
